RushFest Canada 2025: Tribute to Legendary Rock Band
Two-Day Celebration at Toronto’s Massey Hall and TD Music Hall to Honor Rush’s Legacy and Raise Funds for Brain Cancer Research
Toronto, ON – This summer, fans of the iconic Canadian rock band Rush will gather for Rush Fest Canada 2025, a two-day celebration marking the 10th anniversary of the band’s final performance. The event, set for August 1 & 2,, 2025, at Toronto’s historic Massey Hall and TD Music Hall, promises to be more than just a concert—it’s a heartfelt tribute, a reunion of superfans, and a fundraiser for brain cancer research in honor of the late Neil Peart.
Hosted by longtime Rush historian and music journalist Paul Beaulieu, Rush Fest Canada 2025 will feature live performances by top Rush tribute bands, including Jacob Moon and Moving Pictures, alongside special guests like Terry Brown (producer of Rush’s first nine albums), Kevin Anderson (co-author of Clockwork Angels with Neil Peart), and members of Neil Peart’s family. The event will also include intimate storytelling sessions, rare interviews, and a showcase of Rush’s profound musical and lyrical legacy.
“Rush’s music transcends generations,” says Paul Beaulieu, co-curator of Rush Fest Canada. “This event is about celebrating their impact, connecting fans, and giving back to a cause that mattered deeply to Neil and the band.”
All proceeds will be benefiting the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre’s Brain Cancer Research Fund. Since its inception, Rush Fest events globally have raised over $265,000 CAD for charity.
