TORONTO, ON — Now celebrating its 24th year, Winterfolk returns February 13–15, 2026 to the Tranzac Club, continuing its tradition of presenting folk, roots, blues, and world music in an intimate, listening-room environment.

A long-running Toronto festival and registered not-for-profit, Winterfolk is known for championing established artists, elevating emerging voices, and fostering community through carefully curated performances and artist-led workshops. With multiple rooms, thematic programming, and interactive sessions, the festival offers audiences rare access to artists and the stories behind the songs—right in the heart of winter.

Festival Programming Overview

Artist-Led Workshops

All Winterfolk workshops are curated and populated by the artists themselves, creating interactive, participatory sessions where musicians sit in the round to share songs, ideas, and stories around a common theme.
