Marc Jordan Drops Tour with New Tell All Book, Album

Marc Jordan Announces Creative Renaissance with New Book, Album & Ontario Tour
TORONTO, ON — Marc Jordan, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and one of the most influential voices in contemporary music, is entering a bold new creative chapter this spring. The Brooklyn-born, Toronto-raised artist unveils a multi-faceted celebration of his career: an authorized biography, a chart-topping audiophile collection, and a series of intimate live performances across Ontario.
At the heart of this announcement is the release of Rhythm of My Heart: The Authorized Biography of Marc Jordan, written by acclaimed author and musician Don Breithaupt. The official launch takes place April 19 at Hugh’s Room Live, where Jordan and Breithaupt will host an in-depth conversation exploring the life and artistry of a songwriter whose work has sold over 35 million records worldwide.
The biography offers an intimate look at Jordan’s creative process, including his remarkable ability to visualize music in three dimensions—an approach shaped in part by his experience with dyslexia. It traces his journey from the sleek West Coast sound of the late 1970s to his more recent orchestral and jazz-influenced compositions, capturing a career defined by reinvention and artistic depth.
Simultaneously, Jordan is making waves in the audiophile world with Marc Jordan: The Collection, released on the 2xHD Fusion label. Produced by Lou Pomanti, the album has already climbed to #3 on ProStudioMasters and landed in the Top 10 on NativeDSD. The project reimagines Jordan’s catalog using a hybrid remastering process that blends digital clarity with analog warmth, offering listeners a richly immersive sonic experience.
Jordan’s “Renaissance Man” spirit continues on April 24 at The Rosedale Centre, where he joins fellow Juno nominee Amy Sky for a unique concert and art showcase. The event will feature performances from their collaborative album He Sang She Sang, alongside an exhibition of Jordan’s distinctive Flattmuzik Paintings, highlighting his parallel career as a visual artist.
This summer, Jordan will bring his music to life on stage with a June Ontario theatre tour, backed by an exceptional ensemble including Lou Pomanti (piano), Rich Moore (bass), Kevan McKenzie (drums), and Mark Lalama (accordion/keyboards). Each performance promises a cinematic, autobiographical journey through Jordan’s expansive catalog.
As Bonnie Raitt once said, “When I sing a Marc Jordan song, it’s hard to make it sound as good as when he sings it himself.”
From his induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame to his continued exploration of sound, storytelling, and visual art, Marc Jordan remains at the peak of his creative powers—bridging jazz, pop, and poetic expression in ways few artists can.
