The Co-Conspirators Announce Release of New Album War is a Racket and Other Irrefutable Truths and Upcoming U.S. Tour

Folk duo The Co-Conspirators are proud to announce the release of their highly anticipated album, War is a Racket and Other Irrefutable Truths, on January 16, 2025. This 11-track collection dives into anti-war, labor rights, protest, and social justice themes, offering a challenging and powerful mix of 01.-Front-Cover-1024x1024 The Co-Conspirators Announce Release of New Album & US Touroriginal music and covers that resonate deeply with today’s world.

The album features three original songs, one of which is a spoken word piece, along with seven carefully selected covers—some well-known protest anthems and others ripe for discovery. Drawing inspiration from Major-General Smedley Butler’s groundbreaking pamphlet War is a Racket, which condemns war as a means for advancing corporate interests, the album explores the harsh truths behind the violence and injustice of modern warfare, while also championing social justice and workers’ rights.

“We hope to keep the conversation alive around the vital issues of peace, equity, and justice,” said the duo. “With this album and our live shows, we want to challenge people to think critically and take action.”

War is a Racket and Other Irrefutable Truths is available for streaming on Apple Music, Amazon Music, BandCamp, and The Co-Conspirators’ official website. Fans and listeners are invited to explore the full album, which features both deeply personal songs and sharp, pointed critiques of contemporary society.
